Services
Northern New Mexico Wildfire Solutions is here to help you protect your home from wildfires. Our customized services focus on creating a defensible environment around structures, reducing fuel loads and fire ladders, installing defensive irrigation systems and hardening landscapes and structures with fireproof retrofit materials.
Wildfire Defense Strategies
During our consultation process we’ll discuss the most critical areas around your home and property for wildfire mitigation. We’ll ask questions regarding the planned use of your outdoor space, your budget and look at possible grants and tax incentives. We’ll discuss enhanced views and aesthetics that can be created, and draw a customized plan and estimate to fit your budget.

Certified Frontline Partner
Frontline Wildfire Defense systems are remote-activated and 24/7-monitored, providing the top level of home wildfire defense. For defensible space protection, there is no parallel for a fully-automated defensive wetting system.
As Frontline Certified Partners, we provide installation, activation, and maintenance of Frontline Wildfire Defense systems. We now gladly offer those same services they provide elsewhere in the country to our fellow New Mexicans.
Fire-resistant materials, Gutter Guards & Vent Screens
We will survey your property and define recommended defensible measures and retrofit fire-resistant materials. Two areas of concern where flying embers can ignite fires on any home or outlying building are gutters and vent screens.
Additional areas of concern are combustible fencing, which may be hardened or replaced with fire-resistant fencing or walls.

Defensible Space
Defensible space is the area surrounding a home where vegetation and other combustible materials are removed or managed to reduce fire spread.
We will design a defensible space plan for your property, including land features and forestry treatments to prevent fire.
In addition, we provide irrigation and landscaping designed to defend against the spread of fire.
Land Clearing & Xeriscaping
Wildfires thrive on dry vegetation, overgrown brush, and poorly maintained landscapes. Traditional yards with hedges, thick trees, and expansive plantings provide fuel for flames. Xeriscape landscaping, on the other hand, reduces fire hazards with specific plant choices, fire-resistant materials, stone and gravel, and strategic spacing.
