Who We Are
Northern New Mexico Wildfire Solutions, LLC., is the partnership of two neighbors in Ranchos de Taos. Ian and Harris have both worked extensively in Taos county in different aspects of wildfire mitigation, in defensible space, xeriscaping, landscaping, irrigation, urban-wildland forestry treatments, and hazardous tree removal. We bring our experience and resources together to direct our efforts toward protecting homes and real estate assets in Northern New Mexico.
We offer customized consultation for clients' specific needs and concerns. In this time of intensifying wildfire risk, we must act decisively to defend our livelihoods and communities. Insurance companies are limiting homeowner coverage against wildfire in many areas, leaving it in our hands to implement realistic alternatives.
What We Do
Our business focuses on the structure itself, physically protecting buildings and infrastructure in the event that wildfire is imminent in the area. We are aimed at providing a comprehensive suite of services and products to protect residences, other structures and infrastructure from wildfire, most importantly from the threat of ignition by blowing embers. This includes defensible space modifications, retrofitting non-flammable materials, fire prevention modifications, and whole-structure defensive irrigation systems.
Our company, Northern New Mexico Wildfire Solutions, LLC has partnered with Frontline Wildfire Defense to market and install their remote-activated home defense system. Frontline is the industry leader in residential wildfire defense with hundreds of systems functioning in California and Western states. We partnered with Frontline because of their superior technological advancement and dedicated monitoring infrastructure, as well as their vision of environmental sustainability while we live alongside our ever-present risk of wildland fire events.
